Use of cookies

Cookies are text files that each website sends to those who access it and which are transmitted from the user’s computer back to the site on the next visit.

Technical cookies. The Association’s website uses technical cookies to enable the safe, fast and efficient exploration of the site and to provide users with the requested services. Users’ prior consent is not required for the installation of these cookies.

Technical session cookies. The Association’s website uses session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed), limited to the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration by the user. The session cookies used avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of user navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identified by the user, and therefore do not require the acquisition of user consent.

Analytical cookies. As is the case with most websites, the portal collects information relating to user navigation (e.g. geographical location of the Internet access provider, type of browser used, IP address, pages visited on the site, number of users, etc.), solely for statistical purposes, without making it possible to identify the user individually. Profiling cookies. The site does not use profiling cookies, i.e. cookies aimed at creating user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed when browsing the site, or to transmit information of a personal nature, nor does it use so-called persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracking users.

Third-party cookies. The companies that send content to the Association’s portal and those that can be reached through links from the portal’s pages (e.g. You tube, Facebook, etc.) may, at their discretion, use “cookies”, including persistent ones, on users’ computers, aimed at memorising the user’s navigation data, starting from the moment the user clicks on the relevant link. In this case, the use of “cookies” is beyond the Association’s control. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but it is also possible to reject them completely, or selectively accept only some of them, by modifying the browser’s security settings (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari Opera, etc.). Each browser has different procedures for managing settings. If the user inhibits the loading of cookies, some components of the site may be unavailable and certain pages may be incomplete.
